5/8/08-More galleries have been updated. I have made some duplicates in the Rip Curl album except the newer ones have a little better quality to them. The Past Competitions album and Competitions 07-08 album have been updated also.
Meg and I are excited to bring you more new stuff now that we are on summer vacation and finals are over!

5/7/08-Mahalo to Tina for helping me and Meg out SO much while we have been doing our finals and finishing up the school year. I wanted to send a special shoutout to Tina to say "Mahalo for your dedication and donations to the site! You have really helped us a lot!"
Updates for today are a new video courtesy of Tina, and a new Rip Curl photo of Alana modeling. (Also courtesy of Tina!) And some new general Rip Curl photos of Alana that have been posted. You can find it in the Rip Curl Album. In the Bethany and Alana Caps album you will find 19 new caps of Bethany on Toasted TV where she got to swim with the original Flipper! Sorry that they are not the best quality, I tried to fix them up as best as I could.

5/6/08-Hi all! There are so many Bethany updates, I do not no where to start!
One new photo of Bethany has been added to the Bethany Hamilton gallery, and three photos that are from her official fansite myspace have been added to Bethany's Photos album.
The Coconut Wire has been sent out so check your mail for that too!
I will have a new video up soon of Bethany and hopefully some new caps too!
Bethany is currently on a Rip Curl surf/photo trip with Alana and Steph Gilmore! They are in Bali on a secret island. Sounds fun!
Be sure to keep checking back as I will be posting more and more photos and videos as much as I can. This week is the last week of finals so please be patient with me!

4/30/08-Hi All! My good friend Tio has informed me that the Cascais Girls Festival did re-schedule the contest For July 30th. Thanks Tio! Sorry for all the confusion.
Aloha! I know there has been some confusion as to when the BPI Cascais Girl's Festival is because Alana's schedule says May and Bethany's says August. So I went straight to the source... ASP World Tour. The date is confirmed to be May 1st.
Also remember that when the dates of contests first come out, it can be changed. To take a look at the list of competitions here is the official list from the ASP.

4/26/08-Hi all! A new beautiful fanart has been added thanks to Waverly! She has let Soul Sisters use her art for our album so be sure to check it out and leave her some kudos! I have updated the credits under each fanart that has been given to us from many fans as I realized that I hadn't done that in a while.

4/21/08-Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates but not too much news to report right now. Things have been kind of calm.
I wanted to let you know that the Competitions 07-08 album has been updated with 25 new photos of Alana at the Midori Pro! The photos are courtesy of Grant Sproule who has allowed Soul Sisters to use his photos! THANKS Grant, we really appreciate it!
And if you have a facebook account Grant is the administrator of a group called Alana Blanchard Appreciation Society. If you have an account be sure to check out this group and join to show your appreciation for Alana!

4/16/08-Hi all! I hope everyone is excited now that Spring is really in full bloom! I am definitely ready to bring out my surfboard for another two seasons of fun surf!
Today I found an article on a fellow Kauai surfer who competed in the Drug Aware Pro. Her name is Gabi Cope. She is a senior at Kapa‘a High School and was with Bethany and Alana during the competition. She had nothing but kind words to say about these two girls...
"I like surfing with them. They’re really good people,” she said. “It helps being around them because it was my first time (there) and they know their way around, so it’s cool."

4/12/08-Hi all! Sorry I wasn't able to post Bethany's heat results yesterday, but as I was waiting for her heat to begin the power went out in my entire neighborhood! Some sort of wire problems in town that weren't fixed until after I went to bed.
Anyways I hear Bethany surfed great and came in third in her heat. Great job Bethany! Look forward to your next competition.
