1/24/11-Aloha everyone and happy new year! This past January 4 Soul Sisters turned 7 years old! I cannot believe it has been 7 years since I opened up this site for Bethany Hamilton and Alana Blanchard. It's been a wonderful journey and a privilege to be able to update this site and correspond with other fans of Bethany and Alana. This is however my very last update. Yes, Soul Sisters is closing. I have decided to permanently stop all updates to Soul Sisters for numerous reasons.
I want to clarify first that will always be a fan of Bethany and Alana's and want to thank the both of them for being such great women and athletes. I still admire them both and wish them the best in their career and in life in general! They've been a great encouragement to me and I'm grateful for their hard work, inspiration and determination in life. God bless you Bethany, Alana, the Hamilton's and the Blanchard's! I wish you all the best.
I've mainly decided to stop all updates because I am in a new chapter of my own life and have not the time to post anymore. Bethany and Alana also have their own websites (www.bethanyhamilton.com and www.alanablanchard.com) where you can get all the latest information and media so I know that people can still get plenty of updates elsewhere. Also this new chapter in my life has given me almost no time for Soul Sisters and my focuses are now some place else. I am grateful for the 7 years that Soul Sisters was on the web and I'm thankful for all the help and encouragement everyone has contributed.
A special thanks to Tio for being our number one supporter all these years and for contributing SO much to the site. We have had fanart, Scriptures, links, articles, words of encouragement and more from you. Thank you for being our main supporter!
A huge thanks to Noah and Becky Hamilton for always helping me here at Soul Sisters! You are both such a huge encouragement to me! I wish you both the best in life and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for including me and allowing me to be a part of your network. Soul Sisters success was due greatly to your kindness, help and generosity. Noah, thank you for all the photos you have let me use here at Soul Sisters as well as letting me share info and media. Also your networks and contacts have been a main reason for the success of Soul Sisters. Becky, thank you for always including me in your networks and allowing me to have input on projects. I truly do appreciate all your support!
Thank you Meg for all of your art, layouts and contributions to Soul Sisters. I never could have done half of the things here without you. I wish you the best!

And last, but definitely not least, thank you Bethany Hamilton and Alana Blanchard. You are both such beautiful women inside and out and this site was made because I of my desire to share your stories and testimony.
Bethany, God has used you in amazing ways and will continue to use you always. I love the verse 2 Timothy 1:7 and just knoq that you will continue to boldly proclaim God's love to the world! He has given you a Spirit of power, love and sound mind through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I pray for your testimony to continue to be told around the world and that you will allow God to work His will through your testimony. Thank you for embracing His call on your life and for bringing many to Him! You are a wonderful woman Bethany and I wish you God's best!
Alana, you are such a faithful friend and mighty woman. Your love and determination have helped many. I thank you for your dedication, humility and strength. God is working such amazing things in your life and I wanted to thank you for all that you have helped me to face through your strength, hard work and graciousness. (2 Timothy 1:7)
Bethany and Alana I wish you both God's best in surfing and in life. May you follow His ways and walk in His will. You're courage, love and selflessness have made a huge impact on my own life. God bless you both!
