Surfer Magazine's 40th Anniversary of the Surfer Poll Awards has opened. To vote for your favorite surfers go to SurferPoll.com Last year Alana was among the top 5 female surfers.
Bethany's official site will be coming out with a new look very soon so keep checking back to bethanyhamilton.com for updates. Lastly, don't forget to make your warrior head dress for Sambazon Warrior! Bethany and many others share their inspiring stories with the world and show everyone why they are warriors.

8/15/10-Hi all! Rip Curl has done another video series of The Search! This one takes place in Indo from Tip2Tip. Six months of searching the islands and surfing some of the best waves. Bethany and Alana went on this trip this past month and will appear in some of the episodes. Many other Rip Curl riders appear in the episodes as well. 5/9/10-Hi all! Just a quick update to let you all know that Alana went up against Sally Fitzgibbons in the QF's but did not advance through. Sally then went on to win the event. Great job to both Bethany and Alana at the Estoril Billabong Pro!

5/8/10-Hi all! Bethany and Alana competed in their heats today at the Estoril Billabong Pro. Bethany did really great in this contest but did not advance through to the next round. Alana made it through to the quarter finals and will be in heat number one against Sally Fitzgibbons. Good luck Alana and great job to both girls for making it so far in the competition!

5/7/10-Aloha everyone! The Estoril Billabong Pro started today and will be going on for the next two days. Bethany and Alana have already surfed and made it through to round 4 (of 24).
